Tried Thai Place on a Thursday night with two dining partners. Have not really been exposed to much Thai food, this was a great first dive in.
All of the dishes were very large. We ordered four things to try between the three of us, and thanks to the large portions, had a bountiful amount to take home after the meal.
Everything was excellent. Large bowl of Pho soup had myriad flavors going on in it, two different types of noodles, bok choy, and some other vegetables. Delicious. Went with a level 5 of heat, this one had a the most noticeable kick of heat to it.
Also tried the Pad Thai, my favorite dish of the evening. Thin noodles mixed in with veggies and chicken, traditional (according to the restaurant) flavor. Great taste. Went with a level 5 of heat, pretty mild on the heat side.
Went with the Mussaman curry, most interesting dish of the evening. Very pungent smell to the dish, hard to describe very unique, overwhelming almost. The dish tasted fantastic, again very unique. The best way to describe would be the traditional chicken and potatoes and carrots, mixed in with some broth and traditional Thai curry spices. Served with rice.
Also tried the Lo Mein with chicken. Good flavors, but at this point it was probably overkill. It was good but didn’t stand out, probably would try something different next time.
Service was extremely prompt, food served very quickly, drinks always filled up, great experience. Each dish was between $10-15, most items have a dollar plus add on for adding chicken or shrimp to the dish.
Great experience, will definitely be visiting again!
