This is truly a grand hotel with amazing features and architecture. Have to be careful about the room though. Mine is great, but some friends have small rooms with tiny bathrooms and a window that looks into another room and brick wall of one of the three towers of the note. Hotel is made up of three different buildings all brought together. Because if that the Layout is a bit confusing when you get off the elevators but room signage is really good to help you find your room. Lots of restaurants and a Starbucks on site. Fitness center is nice and big gift shop.

Players from major league teams often stay here and you see them in the lobby and the elevators.

Easy to get around to all the great downtown eateries. There is a farmers market with food, music and vendors directly across the street. On another street is a park with a fountain. CVS is three blocks away. You can walk to dozens of restaurants. All the bridges are close. The ballpark is a 15 minute walk across the bridge.

Staff is very accommodating, friendly, and helpful.
Highly recommend staying here.

Was excited to stay here. Lobby was great. Room was okay, but bathroom in the room was tiny...a converted walk in closet. I booked with the hotel directly so expected they could switch rooms to a bigger bathroom. Front desk person I talked to made it seem like to difficult of a thing to do, since he couldn't tell which rooms have big bathrooms and which ones don't. I told him I was bummed by that and he said he'd make a note for next time, but I don't think there will be a next time at this place. And if there is I'll just book from a 3rd party site and save the $$ because booking direct with them didn't really do anything except make me spend more money.

The Omni William Penn Hotel is the perfect downtown Pittsburgh hotel! Great location, restaurants and bar! The staff members are awesome and the rooms are very comfortable. My room was a huge corner room with a great view!

The room was very clean and the water pressure was fabulous! Well appointment and the room had a wine fridge-not a regular mini-fridge-so beware if you have leftovers - they won't stay cold enough. Staff was friendly and the valets fantastic. About a 1/4 mile to the convention center - easy walk. Restaurants in area are good, and many in a variety of price ranges. Easy walk to light rail and other transportation options. I did not eat at the hotel, but did go to the Tap room bar. Seemed too small for the number of people in and out and very little room at the bar.

Was totally caught off-guard with this hotel: Spacious, elegant, romantic, clean, quiet, beautiful lobby and restaurant, to-die-for Grand Ballroom, great food, friendly knowledgeable staff, smooth check-in/out, shall I go on? You will feel like Royalty...period.
