My husband and I just returned from 2 nights at the lodge. It was a fantastic stay! We enjoyed breakfast both days and had lunch from the cafe one day. The food was delicious and obviously homemade with love! We stayed in the Summer room, and found it to be clean, comfortable, and quiet. We would definitely stay here again!

B&B price for standard accommodations. The main building and the separate building in the back have been slightly renovated, just paint. There are no "cabins"; it is 1 building with 4 rooms in it-you can hear your neighbors Jacuzzi, toilet flush, tv, water run. Bathroom fan and fan over Jacuzzi did not work. Soaps and shampoos were not resupplied. Jacuzzi had original operating sign on it for level of water prior to turning on jets and that's all because that is the only requirement. The property had added their own additional typed up Jacuzzi operating instructions which were more restrictive and essentially said you can put water in it and nothing else or it would damage the Jacuzzi. The alarm clock/radio combo radio did not work-not static; it just didn't work. The mini fridge is the miniest. The WiFi didn't work and it had nothing to do with the 30 or so yards from the main building because the signal was Excellent with full 5 bars and it would connect but no internet. No complimentary coffee. About 645pm on Saturday the fire alarm went off in the main building and the staff dismissed it without actually knowing what the cause was and had the police tell the fire company not to come.

Room Tip: the Jacuzzi "cabins" are all noisy

My husband and I truly enjoyed our 3 night stay at Mountain Top Lodge. The ambience of the inn and the employees who worked there were extremely warm and welcoming. As soon as we checked in, we received a very detailed map of the Lake Naomi community and an explanation of where everything is located within the community. Our room was functional...no more or less than what we expected at a bed and breakfast. The inn keeper and the employees were very accommodating when we asked questions, especially for restaurant recommendations and directions. We did notice that there were often times when nobody was at the front desk, so maybe that should be addressed as a staffing concern?? The breakfasts were delicious. Everything on the menu is made to order, and portions are ample. Our stay included a Sunday, which entitled us to the buffet brunch at the Lake Naomi Clubhouse, and that was fantastic. A definite advantage to staying at Mountaintop is the pass they provide you with to utilize all the Lake Naomi community athletic facilities. This includes a wonderful fitness center, 2 outdoor pools, an indoor pool, tennis courts, and a golf course. Although it was a cool weekend, the outdoor pools are heated, and it was a delight to swim there. The larger outdoor pool is adjacent to Lake Naomi, so you can relax by looking out on the pool or the lake. There is a small, but lovely, lakeside beach very close to Mountaintop where you can rent kayaks, sailboats, and canoes. Another nice think about Mountaintop is that they provide beach towels for your aquatic activities. Mountaintop does offer free Wi-Fi, but reception was inconsistent. I think that is typical for the area, and not a reflection on the inn. We had never stayed in the Poconos, and had only been to one other B&B many years ago, so we weren't sure what to expect. The stay exceeded our expectations, and we hope to return to Mountaintop Lodge in the future.

Room Tip: Although we were on the second floor,I would recommend selecting a room on the third floor.

My sister found this very nice bed and breakfast for a sisters weekend. It was in a good location for us to see many places usually within 15 minutes. Breakfast was so good. I loved the french toast and crispy bacon.

Has free wifi but was slower than we are used too. We would drive down the road to the Jubilee to facetime with the family at home.

On our last day I bought multiple items from the coffee shop and loved them all. Must buy if you are there.

I came across this place only because it happened to be on our route to Maine. We had just driven 11 hours from Northern Illinois and were basically looking for a place to crash and do nothing and then leave the next morning. Needless to say, this beautiful lodge got us too excited to sleep! We explored Lake Naomi a little in our short stay as well as the Jubilee restaurant (delicious food and drink!). The Lodge managers were very helpful on what to do in the area (where to eat, relax, shop) and their pastry shop was TO DIE FOR! Incredible drinks and delectable pastries! I regretted not booking more time here! The room was cozy, comfortable, and very clean too.

Room Tip: great getaway, relaxing common areas, fireplaces, great location
