“Fun for kids and adults”

We've made the trip to this destination twice to take our granddaughters and had a lot of fun each time. They are too young for the maze but the other offerings please these very active girls. When we talk about our past trips, we still remember the chicken jokes from the mechanical chicken show which is located near the slides. The timing is usually just about right to give me a rest while the others stand in line to get their ride. Lots of hay to roll in and to climb. Pumpkins to pick and a farm with baby animals to feed and hold. The food that is served there is tasty and fresh. The corn on the cob is a treat!

“Lots of fun, but a bit confusing...”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 November 2011

I work in education and attended this attraction for a field trip for our small special needs class (middle school/high school aged students). There was plenty to do, and everything had a really festive and fun appearance. We started with the corn maze, which took us an unbelievable hour and a half to complete. It was made clear to us that at any point we could choose to wave our flag and be assisted out of the maze, but in order to not disappoint our students, we continued on. It became exhausting for everyone because of how huge it is, and because of how confusing it was (we continued to pass the same landmarks over and over). When the maze was finally over, we decided to hurry up and eat, as the day was almost over and we had yet to go on the hayride/farm tour. The food was delicious, and decently priced for an attraction of this caliber, but there were yellow jackets flying all around the condiments (a very scary situation when dealing with highly allergic special needs students). After eating, we proceeded to the area that plainly advertised the wagon tours with a giant sign, and waited...and waited for our scheduled tour to begin. When no wagon/tractor showed up, we double-checked our maps to be sure that it was the correct location. According to the maps, we were in the right place. Finally, we were able to flag down an employee who then told us that there was a new pick-up location for the tour, which was located on the opposite side of the park. So, we hurried, as best we could with students who difficulty walking, and got there too late. Thankfully, they allowed us to get on the next tour, but all of the adults in the group were so overwhelmed with the inconvenience, that we really weren't able to enjoy it. At the end of the day, the kids seemed to enjoy all of the time outdoors, and the adults were completely exhausted.

“Fun for adults and children”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 October 2011

I have been going to Cherry Crest for the past 8 years or so. We go every year with adult friends and have a great time being kids again in the corn maze, on the bouncy pillow, and playing giant volleyball. We also have been taking our 3 year old since he was 1 and he loves all the activities for little kids- the shed filled with corn kernels and toy tractors is his favorite! It's a really nice way to spend a day outside. We have gone in July, September and October- the past few years, the weekends in October have been very crowded so we might just go in September next year.
