This is the 2nd stay and we still love it. Spacious room, well kept, clean and comfortable. Home cooked breakfast and delicious chocolate chip cookies in the evening. I recommend! Very convenient for parents visiting students at Susquehanna University just down the street. Several nice restaurants at walking distance.

Work brought us to the area. When looking where to stay on the internet, we depend on reviews and pictures from previous guests..we made reservations for the week and continued our drive. We arrived just before sunset, the start of town looked like old run down houses..we started wondering if we had made the right choice. Thankfully, the Inn was a beautiful relief. Each window has a candle burning to add the cozy curb appeal. We were given room 102, a large King room, walk in shower, large flat screen tv, two couches and a kitchenette table for two, microwave and small fridge. The room is clean, bedding and pillows fresh, love how large the room is..especialky being here throughout the week. A new gym is being built in the back which should be a great addition once complete. The lobby has a fireplace with a nice sitting area and a staircase of books to read. The dining hall has cookies and coffee during the day and a nice breakfast each morning. The outside porch areas have high back rockers. The river is a short walk as is hiking areas. The area has several local owned restaurants in walking distance as well as some quaint shoppes. I even had an awesome massage from Linda...one block from the Inn. There is a laundromat just across the street. I did do our clothes...but was a little skeeved by the half working machines..many of which had missing doors. Later, I discovered a much nicer one a few blocks away! The town is a peaceful area where the locals say, is very safe. What a unique experience...can't wait for tomorrow's new discovery! Perfect for Fall... truly nice staff always taking time to say hello and answer my local questions..good delivery, best food, what do they like to do, unique finds to each place we visit! If you are in the area..stay at the Inn. A nice alternative to the regular hotel chains!!!

We returned to Selinsgrove for a reunion and were happy to have the Inn as an option in the old downtown section. They are within walking distance to several restaurants and offer a fabulous breakfast as part of their room rate. The hotel was extremely clean and well maintained; the bed linens have been updated with crisp white cotton spreads. We were upgraded to a jacuzzi king room and very pleased with the tub and very large, comfortable room.
My only complaint is there are no blackout curtains; there are plantation blinds that let in a fair amount of light early in the morning. If that bothers you, bring an eye sleep mask. There is a some traffic noise if you are on the front of the inn; request the rear if noise bothers you.
We loved having cookies and donuts available all day in the breakfast room - such a nice touch!

Room Tip: Quieter rooms on rear; bring eye sleep mask if morning light is a problem for you!

I'm sitting here in my room at the Selinsgrove Inn and can't get over how nice it is! We have a double queen room ,it is so unique because it's two separate rooms! A tv in each room and quite nicely decorated. Also a little kitchenette with mini fridge and microwave and sink. Very, very clean..no worries here! The staff was helpful and friendly! We always stay at B&B'S but the Selinsgrove Inn is at the top of our list for a great place to stay!

The Selinsgrove Inn is a breath of fresh air in comparison to most hotels near the highway. Within a few minutes of Hwy 15, we found ourselves at the Selinsgrove Inn and the assortment of restaurants and shops in downtown Selinsgrove.

The hotel is comfortably furnished and reasonably priced. We walked to dinner Friday night and to a Farmers' Market Saturday morning. Breakfast was delicious and included fresh homemade baked goods as well as eggs and sausage. I even came home with the hotel's blueberry buckle coffee cake recipe.
