Santosha on the Ridge Bed and Breakfast Sanctuary
Reviewed 21 February 2012

I had the pleasure of visiting the Santosha on feb 14th. I had an amazing time. The rooms were beautiful! Everything about the Santosha was beautiful. I felt very comfortable and relaxed. Leslie and Amy did a great job in making my stay pleasurable. I really enjoyed to leaving ritual that I took part of, I felt like a totally different person when I left. Santosha is a great place to stay. I will be back soon.

Beautiful, large rustic home, decorated so nicely, in the mountains. We had a great time. The area is peaceful, and serene. The food was delicious!!!! The rooms were more than comrtable, ours had a little reading nook in it. We were so busy hiking and eating out at the delicious restaurants around the area (and shopping) we did not get to use the hottub, but it is really nice. We felt very welcomed and had a great, relazing weekend. So much fun! We highly recommend Santosha on the Ridge.....definately a sanctuary.

One of the warmest and nurturing bed and breakfast we have ever stayed at. Relaxing welcoming beautiful environment. The views from the windows are spectacular! Felt welcomed when we arrived, beverages and homemade snacks awaited us. Breakfast was very satisfying and delicious. If you are looking for a small scale and personal B &B, this is it! We love the parting ritual, can't wait to return!

Room Tip: Very room has a private bath with great views and colorful decor. Fall and spring are magnificent ti...

Santosha on the Ridge is a beautiful home in a gorgeous place with great views of the woods and the river below. The rooms were spotless, comfy and well appointed. The living room was a great place to sit by the fire and relax with a cup of tea. Even more importantly, the service and hospitality you will find there is absolutely unrivaled. Leslie and her husband Gene took excellent care of us under really difficult circumstances. We were two couples in town for a wedding nearby on what was supposed to be a lovely fall weekend---but what turned out to be a crazy snowy adventure for which we were less than prepared. Leslie lent me an extra coat, offered us a ride to the wedding in her 4-wheel drive vehicle, and made sure we got home safe in the storm. Gene shoveled us out and warmed up our cars in the morning. Even though the power went out on the whole area, she had her generator going and made sure we were warm, comfortable, and well-fed. I couldn't recommend this place high enough. Enjoy!

Room Tip: We stayed in the Woodland Vale room, which I think is the smallest one, and it was just lovely. I di...
