We had a wonderful time on a quick weekend getaway at the French Manor Inn. The staff was warm and welcoming, the food was fantastic and the room was exactly as advertised. The pleasant small-town inn atmosphere was exactly what we needed to relax and enjoy ourselves.

The spa also provided excellent service. Very satisfied with our couples massage. Excellent spa facilities.

We would definitely go back. No question at all.

My wife and I stayed here at the end of February. We had booked a room in the Carriage House, but upon arrival we found out we had been upgraded to a room in the main inn (Nice touch). The room was very nice, about what you would expect from a higher-end B&B, and came complete with complementary sherry and a small selection of cheese. The room we were in was also quiet, and the bed was comfortable. We opted to get their ski package, which included 2 lift tickets for Camelback Ski Area, water, trail mix, and a tote bag - overall it was a pretty good deal. The breakfast was fantastic! In fact, the Bloody Mary I had was one of the best I had ever had (short of my own ;) ) We only stayed one night, but fell in love with the place. We plan to travel there next winter for a few ski weekend getaways :)

Room tip: Keep in mind, the Inn is in a remote location. We drove for quite a while and thought we may be lost - no traffic, or lights. Suddenly the inn was right there, and it is quite popular as we had a hard time finding a parking place lol.

The website is misleading. All of the rooms at the inn are not located in one building. There are actually multiple bldgs throughout the property. Website also indicated 2 restaurants at property. This is not the case, more on this later. The inn is located in a residential neighborhood, there is nothing nearby. So be aware of this before arriving.

Stayed here for a special event weekend hosted by the inn. Weeks leading to the weekend, when I called the inn with questions, I was promised information and then days would go by, no email, so I had to call again. This occurred again and again for a period of over two weeks. I kept reading the reviews on here and kept thinking this was an isolated event.

Arrived at the inn on a Friday evening. Called the front desk and made a reservation in of of their two restaurants, Hanna's Cafe. When we arrived, we were taken to Hanna's Cafe. This is actually a small room next to reception. It has 2 tables, a coffee station, a couch, coffee table and some chairs. Why this is called a restaurant is beyond explanation! Hanna's Cafe has the same exact menu as the other restaurant on the property, which is located on the other side of reception. The server did not know the menu and seemed very inexperienced. It was late and we did not want a heavy meal, so we each ordered soup and salad. We waited 45 minutes for soup. When we questioned the server, his excuse was that the chef was busy serving a large party in the other room. We told server that we did not want the salads at this point. Keep in mind that the inn is a Four Diamond recipient. Again this is just baffling! Bad service, incompetent server and mediocre food at best. Before we went to dinner we informed the front desk that the shower was not working properly. We're told they would send someone over right away. Did not get fixed the entire weekend. Sunday when we checked out, we reminded them of shower. Their answer was, yes we know it has to be replaced;but did not offer any apology or compensation for inconvenience.

We stayed in one the carriage house suites. If you stay on the first floor, be prepared for noise from the upstairs suites. You can hear talking and when they walk, it sounds likes a stampede. The room itself needs a lift. In addition to the shower problem, there was cracked tiles and no caulking throughout. The curtains in the room offered no blocking of natural light. There was no curtain in window by sink. Lighting in room is poor and not sufficient for at night, getting ready etc. The fridge in room did work well. The bed was way too soft and squeaked every time you moved.

Breakfast was provided each morning from a menu of about 6 items. Same menu both days. Same coffee cake both days. No imagination in menu at all. Again not what you expect at a B&B and not Four Diamond quality in either service or food.

Overall, an expensive weekend and not at all worth it. Don't understand all the hype in other reviews.

We came to the French Manor for a bachelorette ski weekend and had a wonderful time. The staff was extremely accomodating and gave us an extra room free of charge becuase they thought we would be too cramped with nine girls in a suite and one regular room. We asked for champagne and wine to be delivered and our request was handled immediately, before the bachelorette could arrive. We also spent an afternoon at the spa which was lovely. The breakfast, which is included in the price of the room, was also excellent. Would highly reccomend this place if you are in the area.

Room tip: The suites were much more spacious than the regular rooms, which were on the smaller side.

The service was lovely, and dinner at the restaurant was really great (the Maple Pork was one of the most delicious things I've ever eaten).

The rooms were nice, but not exceptional. There was a fireplace and jacuzzi in the room.

It was all clean and well cared for.

It's only about 30 minutes from Camelback, so a day of skiing and a night in the jacuzzi was pretty great.
