We were to stay in a courtyard view room. When we went into the room, there was no heat. We fooled around with the antiquated thermostat for 5 minutes. Still cold - no heat. Back at the front desk we were offered a streamside room. Having stayed there before, we were happy. These rooms are exceptionally nice with a view of a waterfall. This hotel has artwork and sculptures that we think are interestingly cool. There is a lot of walking and stairs so it might not be best for people with mobility issues. At least mention this when making a reservation so they can make provisions for you. It was 400 steps from our room to breakfast. Breakfast here is as good as it gets with a view of the waterfall. Breakfast is only complimentary during weekdays. Front desk personnel were friendly and helpful. We've found rates have great variation depending on the day of the week. We stay here a few days each year, and we have enjoyed our stays. Always quiet, but we've never stayed near the nightclub end.

Our quarterly trip to the Woodlands was perfect as usual...most enjoyable, superior satisfaction for sure! From the moment of booking to returning to our travels, time spent involving all aspects of the Woodlands is most magical and marvelous!

we had a very good time the room was always clean my wife ask for different blankets and it was done that same day. the only the only thing I would say that was bad was we didn't get any food vouchers for the last day we were there.

Becky made our experience at the Woodlands!! After our long travel day it was a pleasure to be greeted by her at the front desk. She was not just kind, but very informative on the area and the property. After our experience at check in with Becky we decided to buy some Woodlands swag! (Two Gray Woodlands T-shirts)

As someone who has been in the customer service industry I really appreciated Becky’s positive attitude. Her upbeat personality made my entire family happier and truly made our experience unforgettable. The hotel industry needs more people like Becky. The Woodlands is lucky to have her. My family will definitely continue to comeback to this customer service oriented hotel!

All basic needs are met here PLUS exceptional facilities with food options if you're not trying to stray too far from the property. With the card keys they also included discounts and vouchers for on site food bills. Didn't have time to go swimming but highly recommend doing so!
