We're stayed here 3 nights during Spoleto. We never had to move our car. Everything we wanted to see was within walking distance. The hotel staff is exemplary. No one ever said "no" to a request. We came to the wine and cheese reception held every night and asked for coffee. It was out in minutes, hot and fresh. We were in room 307. You could hear people talking in the courtyard but never in the evening. No problems sleeping. Bed was a queen which was no problem for us but maybe for larger people. They may have larger rooms. Good shower. Everything was clean. Complimentary continental breakfast with table service. We'll return on our next visit to Charleston.

You will just love it here in this beautiful piece of Charleston history. The hotel is situated on King Street in the heart of the shopping and restaurant district. It is a short walk to just about anything you want to do or the transportation you need to get to to do it.
Let me start by saying the hotel is immaculate. The decor is wonderful and the rooms are beautifully appointed and comfortable. The outside patios and verandas are romantic and abundant with magnificent plantings as are the inside atriums where you can sit and enjoy your complimentary breakfast, afternoon wine and cheese and evening sherry. I was amazed that you can also order your continental breakfast and have it delivered to your room at no charge! So great to sip your coffee and plan your day in your jammies! The hotel was very quiet. We had a room right over the outside patio and did not hear a peep.
The staff at this hotel is exemplary. They could not be more helpful or nicer. We would be bringing something in from the car and Nick would appear out of nowhere and wisk whatever we were carrying in for us and disappear just as quickly. Robert is a treasure and your absolute best source of information for what to do, how to get there, and where to eat. We couldn’t thank him enough! I fell in love with Charleston, the food, the architecture and the people....but our trip started at the King’s Courtyard and set the tone for one of the most romantic and unforgettable vacations I have ever had.

We spent 4 nights here in room 401. It was located on the ground floor at the back of the property. It was a perfect room and location for us. We were right by the only courtyard that allowed smoking. The room was bright and sunny with 4 windows on three sides. There were 2 full sized beds, a small table with 2 chairs, an armoire with a hanging area and drawers plus a TV. The bathroom did not have a tub but a large shower. There was also a small refrigerator. They had a complimentary breakfast that was served in an inner courtyard or you could have delivered to your room at no charge. We had the breakfast a few times and it was very good. Not a huge selection but if you wanted something more you could go to their restaurant a block away and order anything you wanted at a discount. They also had a complimentary wine and cheese every day and hot coffee in the lobby. Their parking lot was right behind the hotel and you could take your car in and out as much as you wanted for the same daily fee of $14. If you step out of the front door of the hotel you are right on King Street in the middle of everything. Out the back door you are just a few blocks from the market and all of the restaurants and shopping in that area. The hotel was very dog friendly and also had a few resident cats. Check in and out service was very professional. We arrived early and they called us as soon as our room was ready

The inn is very nice. Rooms are spacious and clean. The complementarycontinental breakfast is very good. My only negative comment would be that when people are in the lower court yard eating breakfast or having the complimentary wine and snacks at 5 PM the noise carries easily up to the rooms so if you are trying to sleep in or nap it makes it difficult.
