This was a high point of our trip to Charleston. Regardless of your religion this tour is relevant to all Americans. Our guide talked about religious freedom and the welcoming of new immigrants to this colony. Perhaps we should all be reminded of why our country was formed.

Charleston once again makes me happy I majored in History. Bob was a fantastic docent who cares passionately about KKBE and its very important place in the religious history of the US. It's a beautiful and important synagogue with an amazing gift shop and a lot of people who care about KKBE.

Lovely tour especially the sanctuary which reminds me of the Old North Church with the exception of the drop dead gorgeous bimah and 4 Torahs! Don't miss the gift shop - bought an awesome Menorah!

Very informative tour given by Diane citing the history of Judaism in Charleston and how Jews fit into the history of the Southern states. Well worth the small admission fee and the gift shop was filled with treasures.

We loved the tour and our guide, Dave, was a wonderful historian. He gave such great detail about the history of Jewish people moving to America, and specifically Charleston. This tour was one of the highlights of our weeklong trip. Our toddler also was pretty annoying the entire time and the tour group was gracious and forgiving.
