Description: SOL Southwest Kitchen is a family-friendly establishment featuring indoor & outdoor dining, food with bold Southwest flavors and "just juiced" cocktails. Our made-from-scratch dedication has made SOL a local favorite since 2013. SOL blends bold flavors of the Southwest with our own Southern culinary influences. We like to keep things fresh. With a focus on dishes that let seasonal ingredients and select spices shine. The real star of our kitchen is our wood fire grill, and all menu items-from sauces to salsas to handcrafted cocktails-start from scratch and are made to order. All tequilas are 100% agave, citrus fruits are juiced daily, and avocados aren't cut until you order guacamole.

Decided to have lunch here based on their online menu, and was pleasantly surprised by the upscale decor, great service, and innovative dishes. Our bison burgers garnished with green chile relish, chile mayo, caramelized onion, and mild cheese came with adobo spiced fries... and it was all perfection. Next time I’ll go for the firecracker jalapeno appetizer, mushroom quesadilla and blackened corn on the cob.....the folks next to us who ordered that (almost) made me jealous. HUGE selection of tequilas also available, as well as an inventive bar menu including avocado “fries”.

Atmosphere was cool. Margaritas were great, except for the amount of ice.
Guacamole was bland. Enchiladas were fantastic (both the chicken and bison.

Be advised not a typical Mexican restaurant with huge servings.

Wanted to graze some appetizers, and found SOL the perfect place. Started with the chicken quesadilla and Lola’s steak skewers. Quesadillas had black beans and corn as well as chicken. Steak skewers were nicely seasoned and so tender. We ordered a second plate. Nice beer selection. Had the apple empanada for dessert. Hard to decide between the key lime pie, banana pudding, chocolate cake or empanada. The empanada was flaky and cinnamon. Suggested to the server that a a sampler of each dessert would be a lovely choice.
Nice ambiance and not loud.

Our second visit and once again blown away! Food is exceptional. Service is attentive not overbearing. Pineapple salsa is ok. I personally will try a different one next time. Their steak quesadillas are out of this world! Ate there Sun it Thurs and I'm still thinking about them. Portions are large. Excellent choice

We went here as a large group on Valentines Day evening and booked in advance. We were seated quickly and the service was friendly and quick. I loved the salsa's to start - the grilled pineapple one was amazing. I had the chicken enchilada which was nice but I didn't like the sauce so I only ate the bits I could scrape the sauce off. The quesadilla's looked delicious so I'll try those next time instead. The margarita's were great and there was a lot of choice!
