Overall things were OK, The desk people were very nice.
What bothered me was the following , there was no coffee 24 hrs. a day, no news paper,the breakfast as a whjole sucked, and there were no eggs served at all, on two occasions the woman who handled breakfast closed up 15 min. early , closd at 8;45 as opposed to 9am, and on our check out day she never showed up at all until 9:30 and the front desk clerk waled out at 9 am, we were told by someone else at 9.30 they had quit. I would not stay at a LaQuinta again not because of the front desk clerk quiting, because of the lousy breakfast and no paper or coffee 24 hrs

Thank you for your review. The breakfast hours are from 6am-9am Monday through Friday. Weekends Sat. and Sun 7am-10am. We try to keep breakfast open past breakfast times of at least 15 to 25 minutes, and remind guests of closing times. We are happy to announce will be upgrading our breakfast to include scrambled eggs and a meat after the 1st of the year, right now it is a continental breakfast. Unfortunately do not provide newspapers any longer. We have stopped providing papers as many people are using the internet for news and we were throwing away too many papers each day.
As of this Friday we will be upgrading our coffee station in the lobby. We will be serving a new coffee to include; Light and Dark Roast as well as Decaf and will provide 24 hour coffee for our guests. I am happy to hear the front desk was nice during your stay. Thank you for your comments.

The rooms are nice - we were there to run the mini marathon. Our room had start of mold in caulking around the tub and air conditioner was VERY musty smelling. Staff was nice, location was good for us. We had stayed previously and didn't have the mold issue. Wasn't major but mold should not be seen at all and the musty smell to the air conditioner made it hard to use. Room was clean, the bathroom needed to be deep cleaned with bleach.

I will most definitely be back.. The overall hotel was very nice and clean, from the lobby all the way to the room.. It was very cozy and the room layout was excellent! We also loved how convenient the hotel was to everything!

We really enjoyed the stay and accommodations were wonderful. We appreciated the help in getting our luggage to our room. We will certainly choose the 21st Avenue location next time we come to the beach.
