This was our second stay at the Breakers Resort. We stayed in the Palms Tower, which was absolutely fantastic. Well matained, there was always someone cleaning in and outside the resort. We checked in around 3pm, we didn't have to wait long, maybe 15 minutes. We also checked in early through the app so signing papers and confirming everything was a breeze, only took 5 minutes, if that. We had picked a standard two double queen beds with the Murphy bed in the living room and a side view of the ocean. Fits 2 adults, 1 teenager and 2 younger kids perfectly. We never had any issues with our room, it was always very clean and the cleaning ladies and gentlemen were wonderful. During our Stay The Palms Tower elevators went down and only one out of three was working, they fixed it within 24 hours, it wasn't a deal breaker, just slightly frustrating. They have multiple parking locations across their buildings. The resort has multiple places to find breakfast, snacks, lunch, drinks, and alcoholic beverages. There is even a Quick Mart if you forgot to grab something or needed a last-minute item and didn't want to get in your car and drive to the nearest CVS. Breakers Resort is located right down the street directly from Broadway at the Beach, a few blocks up from the Pavilion and only 15 minutes south of Barefoot Landing. I have always loved the location of the breakers, it gets hectic in the summer, we loved our stay in September. They have plenty of options for swimming on their Resort, from multiple swimming pools, lazy river, and kids water park, there's something for everyone. I love that from any pool you can always see the beach and you have a view of the ocean from every direction. They have multiple tables with umbrellas along the property, in the summertime it is a bit trickier to snag one but we had no issues this time around. This Resort is perfect for everybody at all ages, always recommend this resort to friends and family.

My stay at the resort was great. Me and my mom were just looking to get away for a few days and the resort suited our needs perfectly. I liked the fact that our room was a stones throw from the beach. There is also the added bonus of being right down the street from major attractions such as the boardwalk, sky wheel, Broadway at the beach, and the Hollywood wax museum. If you don't feel like looking for places to have breakfast although there are plenty in the area get breakfast included at Papa's. The buffet is great. I couldn't get enough of the hash browns with steak.

Room Tip: There is a $100 deposit for accidental damage which you do get back once your stay is over providing there is no damage. But just to be on the safe side check your room for damage that may have been done by a previous occupant and report it to the front desk so you don't become responsible.

We stayed at the Breakers Resort over the Thanksgiving Holiday. It was a wonderful stay. Plenty of pools open for our child to swim in since it was cooler. The coffee shop and restaurants in and around the hotel are wonderful. You are within walking distance of the board walk and skywheel. A short drive to Broadway at the beach.

This was the 23rd year for our Annual Pre-Thanksgiving Golf Trip. For the last 10 years we've stayed at the Breakers Resort. Our only regret is that we didn't stay at the Breakers when we first started coming to Myrtle Beach. Yes, the accommodations are excellent. The beachfront location is magnificent. The breakfast at the newly renovated Papa's Restaurant is fantastic. But without Gloria Hums, golf director at the Breakers, our trip could not have been the success that it was. Gloria's vast knowledge of the many golf courses in the area is indispensable. With Gloria's expertise, we were able to select excellent courses that were in our price range and skill level. Gloria also made sure we got the best possible deals with the courses. Gloria was the reason we switched to the Breakers 10 years ago and the reason we keep coming back. We've already booked our courses for next year and look forward to another great week at the Breakers.

Room Tip: How can you go wrong with an oceanfront room? We liked the building above the lazy river, hot tubs and indoor pool.

Stayed at the Breakers resort many times on our golf trips and will continue to do so. Clean rooms, friendly staff and great location. Many nighttime activities are within walking distance so you don’t worry about driving after you’ve had a few drinks. Talk to Gloria for your golf packages. She’s great to work with.
