Brittany was friendly and accommodating. The orange juice was great, we were given an oceanfront room even when reservation booked thru travel agency was initially ocean view. Cons-housekeeping never came by to clean or ask if we wanted room cleaned or if we needed fresh towels, and yes we saw 3 bugs in our room while there. Pool needed some cosmetic attention, wasn't inviting. We wanted to use the pool next door instead much more appealing to the eye. Room was on the 6th floor and the elevator was out which was ok for us as we enjoy the exercise a bit of a hassle with luggage though.

Dear johnsonveronicar, We do want to thank you for choosing The Blu Atlantic Hotel & Suites for your recent vacation stay. A+ Customer Service with Extreme Guest Satisfaction always -is what we take pride in. I will certainly pass on your kind words to Britney as this is certainly a morale booster. We are excited to hear that you were able to enjoy your ocean front room with that amazing ocean front view (our surprise) ~ so that you were able to enjoy the beautiful scenery as well as hearing the waves crashing right out in front of your balcony~ music to our ears. Of course we never like to hear of us falling short of a perfect stay. We are certainly looking into your issues and concerns at this time. We do have monthly pest control to keep all those nasty outside critters away and it does look as if our monthly elevator service tech was here at the time of your arrival making sure we are all safe on the elevator. My daughter left a stuffed jellyfish she got from the aquarium in the room. I called back SEVERAL times and no one answered, so I drove back 30 minutes and when I got there the lady at front desk told me they might've threw it away, but I could go back and check because the room was stripped but not cleaned yet. I went back, didn't find it, so I asked if they could check with the houseman that stripped the room, but of course he said no!! I'm mad about it because they were very nonchalant about the situation!!

The room was disgusting. Poorly lit room, very few outlets for devices, and the floor was not swept. The bathtub has no plug, so I'll have to go out to get one. Very noisy area. Dog barking in one of the rooms and other occupants talking loudly outside their rooms. The only plus is the closeness to the beach. The door has no security latch. I would never stay here again for any price.

We stayed here for 4th of July vacation. Upon arrival the room was nasty. There was food and stuff behind the end table and was still there when when left.they never swept the floor during our stay.the house keepers don't do there job. Also the tub wouldn't drain good and had to shower in a foot of water. After complaining for 3 days to house keeping i finally got it fixed by telling the front desk.we won't be staying here ever again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone else.

Check in was the only good thing.... oh and the outside pools were great and a volleyball net was a plus although u will need to provide your own ball. But the room was the downfall not for a family with kids and the towels that were provided looked as if not washed properly bathroom was extremely small and disgusting. Not pleasurable
