We waited for 30 minutes with two small children. People who came in after us were served before us. We never got a high chair or menus brought to us. We had to locate them. I spoke with three waitresses all who said “we will be with you in just a second” and never came back. Waitresses would avoid eye contact. When we got up to leave. After never been greeted, a waitress said “oh are y’all leaving”. I said yes, we have been waiting for 30 minutes with no service even though we were told several times someone would be right with us”. The waitress looked at me totally emotionless and said “oh ok” and turned around and walked aware. Terrible service, moldy smell, overall lacking cleanliness and rude staff. I will never go back and I wish Newberry Opera House would take this establishment off of their recommended places to eat after shows.

Walked in at 6:05 pm 12/10/17. Should have walked back out after receiving rolling-eyes look from 2 waitresses standing at the "please wait to be seated" spot. One pointed to an area in the front to be seated. No, neither one seated us. We retrieved our own high chair and menus. After zero service or acknowledgement, 30 minutes later, we left. Not Awful service. Received ZERO service. Pathetic.

Our service was terrible. We wondered if our waitress went on break or left the building because we were left without service. I finally got up to ask for tea glasses to be filled and she didn't come even then. When our food came, we asked to please get some tea. Finally she understood what refilling the tea meant. We will not visit here again! Food was cold when it arrived to the table. Pizza was undercooked.

The eclectic decor is apparently supposed to make you forget about the slow service. It would be something if the food was above mediocre, but it's not. The place is noisy, unkempt, and the staff doesn't seem concerned with the extraordinary wait times. Even when most tables are empty.

20 craft beers on tap, excellent wine menu, house made gelato, & pizza, pasta & paninis. Home made soups, bountiful salads, a great steak and seafood items as well. Fantastic ambiance. Brunch is over the top!
