We decided to visit Myrtle over Thanksgiving. It was just my wife and I for a romantic getaway. We had a suite on the top floor. From the street side you entered the bedroom, a kitchen was next, then the bath, followed by a larger open room with a love seat and a Murphy bed that pulled down out of the wall.
The kitchen had a medium sized fridge, a microwave, toaster, sink and cheap plates and utinsels for 4. Perfect for light breakfast and snacks.
The suite would be ideal for small families with 2 kids. The love seat was not very comfortable, but might be for kids.
The suite had been recently remodeled, the bathroom had a brand new shower insert. They still had older tube TVs, one in the bedroom and one in the living room. Not a big deal, we didn't go to Myrtle to watch TV.
Nice indoor and outdoor pools, though we tried neither.
The staff was very helpful, though we didn't need much help. Plenty of luggage carts. A huge dance club was downstairs for beach music fans, complete with go-go cages. There was a band on Saturday, though we didn't go, there seemed to be a lot of people there for the shagging.More
