Book for 3 adults but they said I book only for 2. No pull up bed, bathroom look old and dirty tub. We had a late check in, ask if we can have until 12 pm , state we will be charge even for one hour. What a rip off , not even understanding!! For 200$$ plus a night, I will not recommend this place to anyone!!

We have stayed at this hotel 2 years in a row traveling with 2 adults and 4 kids. Cannot beat the rates for the location. Rooms were clean, every thing was in operating order. Not a lavish hotel but beds were comfortable. Pros: suite has 2 beds in 1 room and full size fold away bed in another room, beautiful view of beach with easy access. Indoor/outdoor pool for those who don't like sand in their suits, walking distance to several restuarants, clubs, bargain stores, and of course small amusement park right next door. Hotel staff have always been friendly, parking is decen, hotel is very easy to find using gps or mapquest. Cons: shower head is low so tall people beware, kitchen had only a few spoons and no pots or pans to cook with (so just bring your own). My only complaints is regarding the pool side resturant staff were not friendly and would not go out of their way to help, food was over priced. So long as you avoid the OD bar and grill you will have a great time staying here without busting your bank. We will be reapeat costumers next year.

Room Tip: So far all rooms have been comparable

We stayed here for a bachelorette party. Overall, it was good for what we needed. The room was set up a little weird because when you first walk in, you are in the bedroom with 2 double beds. Then you walk through and are in the kitchenette with a stove, full size refrigerator, microwave, and sink. The bathroom was set up nicely for girls because the sink and mirror are outside the room with the toilet and shower. Mirrors were also in the bedroom and living area which was great for 8 girls staying in the room. The living area had a love seat, table and chair, and a murphy bed which we used. We had a full ocean view with a great balcony. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable.

I honestly don't know how the front desk experience was because I did not have to check in. We did not use any of the ammenities except for the lazy river which was clean. The hot tub looked like it had a lot of sand in the bottom of it, but I guess that's what you get for being at the beach. I actually, didn't even know the hotel had other ammenities until I started reading other people's reviews. The location isn't too bad if you're ok with not being in the heart of Myrtle Beach, proper. We were within walking distance of some small bars/restaurants, but definitely a $50 cab ride away from Broadway at the Beach (and that was with the cab driver giving us a deal).

Overall, it wasn't a bad place to stay because all we needed was a place to sleep while we partied elsewhere. We did enjoy being a minute's walk to the beach for Saturday afternoon and the late nigh swims.

This is your basic aging hotel which has a great location on the beach.
The good: location, pool area, balconies, staff.
The bad: bed was hard as a rock; room has only the basics, if you are taller than 5' 4" you will need to duck under the low shower head.

Room Tip: Corner rooms have bigger balconies.

My son and I stayed here for four days in July in a suite that overlooked the ocean. Great location right on the beach, And the room had a great view of the beach, with a balcony which extended out from the room provided for a view going south towards Myrtle Beach, where we saw fireworks on the fourth of July. Housing keeping was prompt daily, although we wish they would have cleaned the kitchen better.

This hotel was not without its issues. First, It needs serious updating; TVs were probably 15-20 years old and small. No dishwasher to do dishes in the kitchen. Some kitchen supplies like dishwater soap, paper towels, salt and pepper, would have been nice. The furniture was old and cheap. The refrigerator had orange stains down its side. Second, and our biggest issue, was that the king bed was next to the exterior door instead of in the room next to the balcony. In the morning we were awoken EACH day by other guests congregating outside their rooms. I's hard to believe all the rooms are like this, but I guess so. Nothing worse than not being able to get a full's night sleep. Third, and maybe less important, was that the hotel has a policy of selling parking spots to paying non-guests. This was a problem on July 4 when so many people wanted to park near the beach. They favored non-guests over guests! Fourth, the game room was not in good condition. Fifth, there were no showering facilities near the pool, but maybe that would be expecting too much from this hotel.

I think we'll try another place next time we come back.
