Review of The Bridge Inn

The Bridge Inn
Ranked #2 of 4 Restaurants in Lenwade
Certificate of Excellence
Price range: US$7 - US$23
Cuisines: British
Description: A traditional English Inn serving hearty homecooked meals. Whether you are looking for a relaxed meal for two, or a somewhat larger party for a Sunday Roast, give us a call to discuss your requirements and we will cater to your needs. Our beer gardens are peacefully tucked away from the main road, and overlook our beautiful fishing lake, where you can let the children run around safe in the knowledge that it's fenced off, and there'll be no soggy children to take home with you. Throughout the winter we keep the log fires burning, and invite you to enjoy your meal in our newly reburbished dining room. If fishing is your passion, then book a stay in our B&B, groups are welcome, and enjoy a comfortable nights sleep followed by a full English breakfast & a day's fishing on our 5 acre lake, or in our private stretch of the River Wensum. Recent catches include 33lb common, 20lb chubb, and even a Barbel.

Lovely helpful staff who bent over backwards to accommodate us and our requests. Cosy, friendly and unpretentious environment. Really impressive portion sizes and quality food. They even have a horse by the fishing lakes. A rare gem! Can’t wait for regular visits in the summer and sample the rest of the menu :)

Stopped on the off chance as have the dog with us! We were all made to feel very welcome and staff and locals friendly.
Had rump steak and the lamb. Both absolutely delicious!
With good food, lovely glass of red and a fire going... perfect end to a long day!!
Highly recommend!

We waited an hour for main courses that were mediocre at best.. the hunters chicken was well..mmmmmmmm . We ordered a Childs pasta and sauce.. which they forgot to put the pasta in.. the pub wasn’t busy so puzzled as to why so slow.. the staff were nice though so maybe we caught them on a bad night. Don’t think we will go there again.
