We eat here often for a great meal and atmosphere! The food is always prepared while we have a short wait so we know it's not prepared ahead of time. The location is perfect and parking right on the property.

I had the Turkey BLT which was done perfectly. It had a red pepper sauce that really added to the flavor along with avocado. The sweet potato fries were obviously made in house and crinkle-cut - they are some of the best I've ever had. Our Oreo shake was also quite tasty.

Sunday morning breakfast-seems like a good idea to try a new place while traveling through Sioux Falls and why not an older and beautiful place such as this. The decor is an excellent mixture of 50’s and early 60’s diner chic with gorgeous booths and wide windows through which the sun poured. It then went downhill.

Weak coffee like my grandmother made during the depression (hot water strained through 100 year old coffee grounds) was served along with an Americano that was only slightly better. We ordered a Farmer’s Scramble that was advertised to have tomatoes and spinach, but when you looked no vegetables could be found (interesting for an establishment that promotes its vegetarian fares; perhaps they were saving the vegetables for those orders). I ordered the Breakfast Poutine (originated in Montreal, Quebec where French is spoken and is thus pronounced “poo-tin”) and my waitress immediately corrected me back calling it “poo-tine” and thus demonstrating her lack of knowledge. Both meals were cold when served and heavy and salt-laden in that typical Mid-Western style.

Overall, the atmosphere is enjoyable, the service is insulting but adequate and the food terrible. Go at your own risk.

Thank S B

Nice little to go counter with a coffee bar right when you walk in the door. Food was ready to go and the order was just as we ordered it, even with a few modifications requested by us. My go to for to go orders from now on!!

Thank you for this post, ejones2369! We love doing To-Go orders, especially when we get to hang out with our guests at the dine-in rail while they wait for their food! Cheers to your next visit, and thanks again!
