We had a warm and friendly greeting when we arrived at Apple Tree and this set the scene for our entire stay. Our room was clean and fresh with a comfy bed, hot drinks, bottled water and bathroom toiletries. A delicious, freshly cooked meal in the evening (very reasonably priced) and plenty of options for breakfast. The bar and library area were lovely places to relax. With plenty of parking and easy access to The Quantocks and Exmoor, we're so pleased we found Apple Tree.

Had a very enjoyable stay at the Apple Tree Hotel. The owners were very friendly and personable, obviously taking great care in their work. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, with a desk and a tea/coffee maker. We had both dinner and breakfast at the hotel restaurant, and were impressed with the quality and selection available. Would definitely stay again!

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights on the 5th/6th August to celebrate my Mum's 80th birthday celebration at nearby Curry Pool Mills caravan park. We enjoyed a fabulous stay from start to finish with a warm, friendly and attentive service from the owners and staff. The breakfast was delicious and cooked to order with excellent quality ingredients. The room was extremely comfortable with a lovely view overlooking the garden. We will definitely return on a future trip to Somerset.

We have passed the Apple Tree Hotel many times en route to Blue Anchor Bay, where we had a caravan, but on this occasion needed an overnight stay as our Niece was getting married at the nearby Quantock Lakes. What a pleasant surprise when we pulled in off the A39. Our first 'wow' impression was the very pretty, well kept grounds. There was easy parking followed by a warm greeting from Gill who showed us to our room. We stayed in one of the outer rooms which was perfect for our needs; having to arrive back very late in the evening. The room and bathroom, bedding and towels, were spotless with many little extras, including bottles of water, hot chocolate, biscuits and sweets. Breakfast on the Sunday morning was 8 - 10 which meant we could have a lie-in. The breakfast was great too with many choices and the waitresses were very pleasant and helpful. There was a warm, homely feeling to the Hotel and the layout is quite unique. Both Simon and Gill are so friendly and caring about your stay being just perfect - and it was.

I was incredibly impressed with this hotel from the minute I walked through the door and was given a really warm welcome and shown to my room.

The room was perfect for my needs including access to the WiFi which, as I needed to do some was work was great.

I had the burger for my evening meal and it was tasty as was my breakfast (lots of choice) in the morning.

The thing that stood out for me was how welcome I was made to feel which surpassed everything else. As a female travelling on my own it really makes a difference so thank you to the staff!

Would definitely recommend this hotel!
