We enjoyed lunch at this popular spot after a nice walk across the Walnut Street Bridge. Very good chicken salad with walnuts and dried cranberries. The Mocha coffee with whipped cream was perfect. My husband enjoyed one of the sandwiches. Clean, friendly service and reasonably priced. I would definitely return.

Rembrandts is one of my wife's favorite places to visit in the city. The most appealing part is the outdoor seating area. It is a charming setup against an older building with plants and a fountain. It is located in the Bluff View Art District which provides a great atmosphere.

There is free street parking and various lots in the area. There is a small amount of seating indoors. You place your order at a counter indoors and then the food is brought to your table. They have various sandwiches to choose from. There is a wide selection of beverages including coffee and various sodas. Rembrandts also features a large assortment of baked goods displayed at the counter.

We enjoy visiting whether for a meal or just coffee and pastries. It's a great spot to stop in while wandering around downtown, the Walnut Street bridge or the Bluff View Art District.

Your only choice in the area, it is pleasant sitting in the patio outside, but the cuisine is ill prepared and overpriced. You are advised to move on to another area.

I choose this place because it was the closest on a list of coffee shops from where I was stuck in traffic. For once, my nav system made a great suggestion. Free on street parking. The place has a definite old world, European vibe about it. The place filled during my visit, but the sound level never got very loud. I wanted a place to have coffee, get out of the chaos of downtown traffic and write. The mocha was outstanding. The coffee itself has a wonderful flavor profile. The chocolate had just enough sweetness to provide flavor without making the drink cloying. I noticed people around me having lunch. Everything looked wonderful and people were making positive comments. I decided to stay, have another mocha and lunch. The chicken salad on a croissant was just what it should be, simple, elegant and delicious. The place is next to the arts district an close to the Aquarium. Do yourself a favor. After seeing the aquatic life along with the trillions of children there as well, walk over here. You'll enjoy the coffee in an oasis of calm.

This little European coffee shop is walking distance from the Aquarium or UTC Arena; originally intended to eat at another eatery in the district but the wait was too long. 1st visit to this eatery and for a last minute choice it was very good. Menu is posted on the wall and also has a printed menu that you order thru a line; and then you seat yourself either inside or outside in the garden terrace..sitting outside is preferable. We both had the Firebird Sandwich which was Smokey Turkey w/Pepper Jack cheese on Jalepeno Cheddar bread with chipotle buttermilk sauce for dipping; served with chips...It was excellent...saw many other customers having desserts which they are known for; soups/salads and coffee...would return again....
