With focus on exceptional service and style, Wellington's menu features a Southern American Cuisine, created by their Executive Chef, Heather Ricker. Filled with antique structures, encompassed by warm mahogany and cherry woods, the grand dining room combines a warm, intimate atmosphere with an unforgettable array of tantalizing treats. One antique structure you won't want to miss is the antique bar salvaged from an old bar in Chicago, but Wellington's antique bar is serving up more than just history. I only had breakfast as I was staying here. It arrived quickly and the service was prompt. I was surprised at the price of coffee though.

Good breakfast, excellent service, only negative I had was my fork had some dried food on it but they replaced it quickly. Had the breakfast flatbread with yogurt coffee and OJ. Very attentive without being pushy, coffee refreshed without prompting. Definitely recommend!

We went for dinner for my husband's birthday. I would put Wellington's on par with some of the nicer restaurants in Asheville, saving an hour drive. The filet was excellent and the service was superb. We went during the week and it was not busy or crowded. The bar area is lovely and has the ambiance of a big city speakeasy.

My filet dinner was excellent - steak extremely tender and tasty. Husband loved his chicken livers appetizer and salmon dinner.

Eight friends met. We all ordered something different. Appetizers were great especially the grit fritters. Dinner servings were perfectly sized-- not too small or too large. I had the pork mainly because of the vegetables. Butternut mashed potatoes and Bussels sprouts were delicious. Pork was moist and tender. The friends ordering the steak plates, chicken, and salmon were very complimentary of their meals. I would diffinately eat here again.
