We walked from the Inis Oirr airport with bags in tow and found the Hotel Inis Oirr easily. We walked in through the pub and we directed to the hotel part of the building. (You can enter the hotel directly from the left side of the building as you face the pub.

The staff were friendly and kind. The room was large and a bit modern looking, like it had recently been renovated. Nice new bathroom with a separate tub and shower, sparkling clean and plenty of hot water. The bathroom had a towel warmer. Note that my traveling companion said her room didn't have one. We were in 12B.

Beds were comfortable. You can hear hall noise but it's rare accomodation that you don't. (I always bring earplugs.) I slept well.

The breakfast room/lounge is cute and comfortable with lots of windows and natural light. Breakfast was good and you could get hot items like eggs, bacon, sausage, etc.

We pre-paid for the 4 course meal, which we had in the pub. You choose from a menu. I had bangers and mash for the main. It was delicious and also way more food than I could eat.

Later in the evening there was live music in the pub. My fellow travelers said it was great; I was still jet-lagged and missed it.

All in all, an excellent stay. Recommended!

Beautiful hotel on an idyllic island. Perfect place to get away from it all. Fabulous walks and sights, and pony and trap tours around the island. The food was delicious, we had our lunch and dinners at the hotel restaurant, and the breakfast options were great. The rooms were spacious and really nicely decorated. Best customer service, from all the staff, that we've had in a long time. Can't wait to go back.
