“Good food, slow service”

We were struggling to get into a restaurant on a Saturday night, so we tried this place as it had space.
Only one man waiting, who was really friendly and helpful. However, he was clearly struggling with the volume of work. Later, a lovely Romanian lady turned up and got really stuck in.

The food was lovely, although having 3 menus to choose from was a bit strange.

So, excellent food, but slow service. Give it a try though, as it is really friendly and the food was very very tasty and beautifully presented.

We popped in 'en famille' for a quick lunch snack. We ordered a bottle of very reasonably priced Cotes de Provence rose which went down well. Several crepes were devoured with a portion of frites and they were judged to be good. I ordered the frogs' legs that came in a tempura with a garlic aioli. They were very bony without much meat so I wouldn't repeat them. Service by a friendly, lively waitress was very good and our overall impression was that St. Malo Creperie was good value. There was a steady trade and it is clearly popular of a lunch time. In nice weather it would be good to sit outside but on a wet March lunchtime, it served us well.

We loved this restaurant first time around and vowed to return. We did just that last month and were delighted to find it as good as we remembered. The moules and frites are first class as are the crepes. The red wine list is excellent and the prices are very reasonable. Very friendly staff and owners nothing is too much trouble.

This is one of the worst most annoying places to go, have been a couple of times and always ended up leaving in a bad mood. The service is actually shocking, to actually get serviced is a challenge however to get drinks/food/the bill is near on impossible. The staff are not helpful or even interested in doing their job and the food is well below average.

Unless you have half the day to waste and limited taste buds combined with the patience of a saint I would recommend going some where else.
