“Remote with good views”
Reviewed 3 October 2017 for a stay in September 2017

Enjoyed the views of the sea and the Sloop pub food - bring supplies as local store shuts at 4 PM - Salcombe is beautiful and worth a visit - otherwise probably best as a base for walkers - beach and Bantham nice

“Perfect Autumn getaway...”
Reviewed 30 October 2016 for a stay in October 2016

A cute, idyllic lodge set in the rolling hills of South Devon with fantastic sea views. A well equipped lodge coupled with comfortable outdoor seating area. Tim and Helen were nothing but helpful, friendly and very accommodating completing the perfect, tranquil stay. Great location- walking distance to a very cosy local pub, driving distance to many local attractions, perfect for seaside explorers, We will definitely be returning to Sunset Lodge.

“Comfortable, relaxing hideaway”
Reviewed 4 September 2016 for a stay in August 2016

Well equipped, comfortable lodge with excellent views across the bay. Very private, despite a busy road to Bantham. Sloop pub within walking distance, plus Fisherman's Rest and Church House pubs a short drive away, both with great food. Surprised at the solitude, enjoyed the comfort of this hideaway. The decking made for pleasant evenings in the sunshine and under the stars. We had a fantastic week, weather was a bonus giving wonderful sunsets across Bigbury Island. Have come home totally chilled out and would certainly recommend it to anyone.

Thank you for your positive review. In July & August the road does get busy at the beach arrival & departure times, usually very predictable. Most of the time a tranquil and beautiful haven with stunning views towards Cornwall & the Eddiston lighthouse.

“Cosy little hideaway”
Reviewed 7 July 2016 for a stay in July 2016

Lovely little lodge tucked away behind the trees, well equiped and homely. Loved the peace and quiet of this rural location, ideal for a weekend get away. Stunning views over the fields to Burgh Island.
