Surprised to find this little gem in Bigbury open on a rainy windy day in February. Location is unbeatable, views across to Burgh Island and across the sea stunning, outside seating available ( some of which are under a cover )
Hot chocolate, chips ( which are really scrummy) , burgers and pasties were lovely ( although not sure about Rosemary as an ingredient )
Serving staff were friendly and helpful
Recommend a visit before and/or after a fabulous walk on the beach

A good cafe in a wonderful spot, the only issue is that service is incredibly slow I have no idea how things take so long. However saying that the staff were very friendly and the food and drinks were good so perhaps it’s worth the wait. The only other thing I would say is that the prices are high end for a beach kiosk and that’s why it isn’t excellent overall.

We’ve tried the pasties before and the combination of rosemary and meat just does not work.
Please sell well made normal pasties Venus!
The burgers are the same as we discovered today. Ok-ish, but not any more than that. If I was being harsh I’d say they were boring with a distinct lack of nice add in you expect these days.
The coffee is dull too.
Overall? Disappointed

We stayed in a nearby caravan park out of season so didn’t really expect anywhere to be open. This Cafe on the seafront was open all day and the range of food a drinks very good. But the nicest thing about it was the staff, all of them really friendly and helpful. Portions are generous too. Recommend this place for either a quick drink or even a meal.
