“Convenient location”

Good to have an allocated parking space outside the apartment which is very close to the heart of Brixham - a few minutes walk. Also close to the SW coastal path. The lounge window looks out across the roof of the harbour office to the sea and breakwater beyond but it is not noisy considering that the fishing quay and fish market are so close. (The only noise was from upstairs - we could hear snoring from the bedroom above!). There are boats going in and out all the time which are interesting to watch. On the downside the balcony has sun only in the morning and is very close to the yacht club and the road so you need to be an exhibitionist to sit out there for breakfast! The linens are excellent quality and very clean and the king size bed was comfortable but the carpets are dirty and badly stained in places. Generally the flat seems to need a proper clean although it is good on a superficial level. There was a dehumidifier running on constant which we had to empty frequently. Might be better for a short break than a longer holiday and would probably be good out of the summer season.

“Superb location overlooking the harbour”
Reviewed 31 May 2015 for a stay in April 2015

First floor flat - not many steps as the car park slopes - overlooking the harbour. Well equipped kitchen, two comfortable good sized double bedrooms with plant of storage and only a short walk from the quayside with its restaurants and harbours . The property has its own car parking space (big enough for a Toyota avensis tourer if reverse parked and just off the road through the town - this is incredibly valuable in a town with no on street parking near to the centre. Downside? it is not pretty from the outside but then we were inside looking out oat the harbour. There is some traffic noise from the road and alas the picture window has some condensation inside it. No wifi - but then there was a good BT FON signal free if you are a BT customer, fee payable if not (do register before you travel with BT FON)
Fine for 4 people, a bit close to the road for young children and no garden or play area outside. Steps and bathroom could be awkward for people of limited mobility.

This is a modern, clean and ideally situated place to rent. You have views of the harbour from your kitchen and living room window and small balcony. It is a very short walk into the centre of Brixham and there is a private car parking space for one car.
Brixham has plenty of pubs, cafes, shops and restaurants as well as the harbour with boat trips to neighbouring resorts such as Torquay and Dartmouth. There is a pier to stroll along and plenty of benches to sit and admire the marina or do some crabbing.
You can walk for miles to your left on a walk along the coastline which takes you to various little coves (although the walk is steep in places) and if you walk to the right through Brixham, past the marina, small but lovely stoney beach, past the sea water swimming pool you can continue to Berry Head. A lovely unspoilt area to walk, picnic or enjoy the lovely cafe. Again the walk is steep in places, but it can be reached by car if this is a problem.
We had glorious weather and didn't move our car once.
