We had walked a fair way into the town centre and were ready for a bite to eat and a nice cup of tea. There are several interesting little shops, galleries etc to browse around in the main street and we were drawn to this place because it combined a 'good as new' selection of clothes, bags, hats and cards and gifts with a little cafe on the first floor.
We both had a salad and a pot of tea and were very impressed with the food, which was fresh and beautifully presented. They even went out to buy some freshly baked bread for us which was delicious. The waitress was charming and made us feel at home. It was very busy and we had to wait a while but that didn't seem to matter and I had an interesting browse around the rest of the building whilst I was waiting!
We even went back later for a Devonshire cream tea which was fab!
