Reviewed 5 November 2007

We stayed here after arriving late and tired in Dawlish, having followed a sign from the coast road south.

The proprietors were friendly and welcoming. Our double room was well presented and en suite, with comfortable seats in a large hill/sea view window. We made use of the electric heater provided, as the central heating wasn't on.

The local pub is literally five minutes' walk up the drive, with good food and good prices. The B&B proprietor was kind enough to book us a table, which was lucky as they were busy.

Breakfast was good quality, with a range of cereal and organic yoghurt, eggs from the farm, local meat etc.

The farm is also a livery yard, and we were free to wander round and meet the friendly, good-natured inmates - which included a miniature pony.

We plan to go back and spend longer.
