Manor Farm is great for families, especially with children. The animals are very friendly and Mandy will usually let you feed them. The breakfasts are great with fresh egg and lovely bacon.Manor Farm is in a superb location!

We stayed for two nights in this beautiful old farmhouse in the heart of Holcombe with our two children. The room were comfortable and nicely furnished and the cooked breakfast was wonderful, especially the fresh eggs. Our hosts were excellent, friendly, helpful and made us feel really welcome. We would not hesitate in recommending Manor farm or to stay here again in the future. Yes, the cockerels do crow at 4:15am but this is the country after all, just roll over and go back to sleep! We would also recommend the Castle Inn at the top of the drive for food and a pint of the local ale.

Room Tip: Situated in a quiet village with a nice pub & short walk to the sea on the coastal path

Having stayed in cramped B & B's in the past, we were pleasantly surprised to find a good sized very comfortable room with tea & coffee making facilities, TV and en-suite shower room.
There is a sea view, a variety of animals in the garden and a pub at the end of the lane.
Breakfast was excellent with fresh "tasty" produce. The owners were welcoming and friendly.
We would not hesitate to recommend Manor Farm.

We stayed here for an evening before going to a party in the next door village hall.

The double room was comfy and well equipped with an ensuite, TV and tea and coffee tray. You really are in the heart of the countryside here - rolling hills and a sea view, with the menagerie of animals wandering around outside.

The hosts, Mandy and Humphrey, were very charming, and plied us with homemade Marmalade and local produce (including eggs laid just outside the bedroom window) at breakfast the following morning.

I wouldn't come here if you are after high-speed broadband (or any broadband - the village was down when we were there) and the cockerels could do with a mute button at 4am, but that is part of the charm.

A final lovely touch was a Christmas card for each guest as we left.

Room Tip: The room overlooking the chickens can get a bit lively when the cocks start crowing in the early hours
