This was part of my birthday-week celebrations and I loved every minute of it!

The staff are all extremely friendly and knowledgeable and thanks to Ruby – the first female horse to have pulled the boat…

Took a trip on the Tiverton Canal, aboard the Tivertonian, the last horse drawn barge in the West Country. Probably the most relaxing waterways experience there is. We were lucky with the weather - warm, sunny afternoon - which helped. There's a bar aboard, so you can quench any thirst and we also had a cream tea. Can highly recommend this. A great way to spend a few hours.
