“Fantastic find”

Great communication with owner who went out of her way to make our trip to fit our needs . The cottage is beautiful and so homely and there is everything you could possibly need . I cannot praise this cottage enough. So close to local pubs in this beautiful village . We have already booked our next visit

“Truly charming cottage in stunning location.”

From the moment you step through the front door, you will fall in love with this cottage. Plenty of room for the family, in fact larger than it appears in the photographs. Kitchen has everything you need, you can eat in the dining room, or if it is warm, in the charming courtyard garden. The sitting room has comfortable seating, there are games, books and DVD's aplenty, with a log burner for the winter months. Bedrooms have plenty of storage and the beds are comfortable. Although one side of the cottage is on the main road, the secondary glazing is extremely efficient. Bus stops within less than a minutes walk. Corfe Castle centre, well stocked small supermarket and Preserved Railway 5 minutes walk.

“Perfect property in a perfect location”

Wissett Cottage can only be described as a beautifully and sympathetically restored cottage with the added bonus of off road parking.
It lies in the heart of Corfe in walking distance of all amenities and the castle.
The cottage itself has every comfort and convenience you will need, whilst maintaining it's historic charm. Walking from the low ceiling hallway into the dining room feels like you've entered a medieval banquet hall complete with chandelier.
We could not fault the property, facilities or location and will definitely be back.

“Wonderful cottage”
Reviewed 9 October 2017 for a stay in October 2017

This is the 5th time we have visited Wissett cottage and we have had a consistently good experience. The cottage is very picturesque, well equipped and located in the beautiful village of Corfe Castle. There are lots of places to visit in the area as well as many good pubs and restaurants.

“Yet another marvellous week!”
Reviewed 6 October 2017 for a stay in September 2017

This is our fourth stay at the gorgeous Wissett Cottage in the last two years and it was another lovely week with pretty good weather for late September! The cottage is so attractive and cosy, as soon as we arrive we feel perfectly "at home". The owners Kate and Chris make sure everything is just perfect, even to leaving a bottle of wine to welcome guests! We love the village of Corfe Castle and indeed the Purbeck area as a whole. So much is close to hand, lovely sandy beaches, beautiful countryside plus the attractions of Poole harbour and Bournemouth being easily accessible. We also love the steam railway!
