Reputation is everything & this wonderful place deserves the best, it"s a Scottish family run business And having been introduced to it by my now wife ( we had no hesitation in having our wedding reception there last year ) i often think that you get a good feeling if you see a full carpark & this place is so good, they park down some of the country lanes opposite the place, their Sunday Carvery is amazing, ( you will need to book) if you want say a first sitting at twelve and then do it a week or two in advance, its that good at a very reasonable price, see their website for details, they have plenty to choose from even if you don't want the Carvery plus a daily specials board, we are working our way through the different menus.

We found this wonderful place a number of years ago and always visit it for special occasions or whenever we want to spoil ourselves! The friendly staff are always willing to provide everything you require and the food is always exciting and inventive. We have recommended this restaurant to many friends and it always delivers.
Thank you all.

Saturday evening meal out at what we hoped would be a pleasant dining experience. We found the place to be very clean but impersonal and specializing in 'factory' dining. The food we had was averagely good pub food. Quick service at the start although one of the waitresses looked grumpy all evening. However, after the dessert course no one came near the table nor looked in our direction. We were completely ignored although we would had liked more to drink and to have coffee. We could have walked over to a waitress to ask if they were still serving but decided to wait to see how long before someone came over. No point in waving for attention as no waitress ever looked in our direction. After an hour (!) of waiting and at 10:00 pm we decided to leave. The lack of care was mentioned to the lady when we paid at the bar but the clear impression we got from her was 'so what'.
We are local be won't be recommending this establishment or visiting again.
