“Castlefield is light and bright and comfortable.”
Reviewed 7 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

Myself and my tenage grandson thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Castlefield. It is ideally placed to explore St Andrews, Dundee and the coast of Fife generally. Parking is excellent, and shops, restaurants and pubs are all just a few minutes walk away. The decor is fresh and clean and everything we needed was to hand. The owner, Liana, was friendly and helpful. I made my booking very late (only 10 days ahead) and did not expect to find such a nice place.

Thank your review and for leaving the cottage so clean and tidy after your stay, it is very much appreciated.

Castlefield is a new addition to the accommodations we offer and proving very popular. I love its sunny position and outlook over the car park towards the park.

We look forward to welcoming you again soon.

Liana

“Perfect”
Reviewed 26 July 2015 for a stay in July 2015

Castlefield is a wonderful base for exploring Fife. We stayed there for the week of the Open. As advertised, it is a short, 5 minute, walk to the bus stop to St. Andrews as well as grocery stores and pubs. The cottage is newly remodeled, with a small kitchen, 2 bedrooms, bath and living room. Liana Steven is the perfect host, going out of her way to make us comfortable. She was ver helpful when one of our party became ill. If we return to Scotland again, we will certainly contact Liana first to see if she has a vacancy.

Thank you for your warm review of my little cottage. I love its location, central but on a quiet street, overlooking towards the park and very sunny. (Unfortunately I can't put solar panels up to take advantage of its south facing roof due to planning rules!)
I want all our guests to feel welcome and know I am about to help out with information and emergencies.
Would be lovely to welcome you again, good health. Liana
