Description: We are open 7 days a week from 10am - 4pm in February and from 10am - 5pm from March right up until Christmas. The Olive Tree Cafe is a coffee shop that currently seats 90 indoors and has a beautiful courtyard outside for further dining. There is a lovely mezzanine area upstairs for relaxing over a newspaper or magazine whilst enjoying a freshly baked treat with a hot tea, coffee or hot chocolate. As part of a converted steading there are many different independently owned businesses offering various shops for visitors to enjoy. The cafe makes all of its food and cakes freshly on the premises using the freshest of ingredients. With an adult's and children's menu, delicious coffee and a variety of teas we enjoy catering for all tastes. There is a play area for children and disabled access for those who need it.

The cafe/restaurant was just what was required. A nice little venue with a nice menu. The home baking was to die for and the staff were very very nice indeed.

Another visit to The Olive Tree Cafe within Brodie Steadings and it is always a pleasure.
Incredibly fresh and imaginative food served by lovely Staff. Make sure you visit when in the area and you’ll be able to visit the other interesting establishments there.

Lovely bustling busy cafe at Logie Steading gave us a warm welcome and some tough menu choices. The soup and sandwiches looked lovely but we went for the burgers - which were delicious! Evidently home made, perfectly cooked, with a nice salad accompaniment. Just enough room after for lemon and poppyseed cake and a really long long catch up while never feeling rushed by staff.
A lovely visit.

Pleasant cafe for informal light lunches.
I enjoyed a bowl of tasty venison stew with delicious granary bread whilst Himself's veg bean chilli and jacket potato looked great too (he assured me it was). The venison just melted in the mouth and there was a lot of it. When it said venison stew on the menu I expected quite a bit of potato, but it was mainly good chunks of meltingly tender meat (no fat, no gristle), some carrots and mushrooms. The bowl wasn't huge, but it was filling

The place was busy and had a nice buzz

Efficient service by polite and helpful staff.
