Recently stayed at Greenlea B&B while on a road trip around Scotland. We didn't book anything in advance, just went. Had no intention of going so far north but as Fort William was full we headed towards Loch Ness in the hope of finding somewhere to stay for just one night. Greenlea was the first place we found that had a vacancy, and to be honest, our only other option seemed to be the back of the car!
What a stroke of luck...Greenlea turned out to be one of the highlights of our holiday and we stayed for two nights! Our room turned out to be The Bothy. An attached outbuilding. It was warm and cosy, immaculately clean, had it's own WC, sink and shower and access to the pretty back garden which overlooked the river...perfect! Better still, a full Scottish breakfast was provided in the main house. Gordon and Miranda were fabulous hosts giving us plenty information on the surrounding area and even booked our evening meal at a local restaurant for us. Theirs is a new business but I can see they are going to be very busy in future.
I have no hesitation in recommending Greenlea as a place to stay and will definitely stay again next time I visit Scotland.More
