As other reviewers have mentioned, you'll get a warm and friendly welcome at this lovely B&B. It's situated a little way up a hill giving you a great view over Loch Ness while you have breakfast. On that subject, the breakfast is the stuff of legend - sets up you perfectly for a day in the highlands. If you like haggis, you're in for a treat; it's the best I've ever tasted. If you haven't tried haggis before, this is the place to do it.

The rooms are bright, clean and comfortable. The lounge area, although maybe a little dated, is warm & cosy. I absolutely loved my stay here and can't wait to come back.

Thank you so very much for the lovely review!
Delighted you loved the haggis our whole family love it too, it has to be Cockburns of Dingwall! They deliver just by the way!
Thanks again and hopefully we'll see you back on the farm in the future.

We were referred to here after our first place was booked up. I'm pleased to say that I'm happy we ended up here.

The turn off to the farm is marked by a sign, though it is small and we drove past it. Twice. Just make sure you are going a little slow in the area to find the driveway up to the farm.

We showed up a little later and were the last to arrive. Our rooms were very nice - both with an ensuite, one had a big tub and the other a shower. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were a good size. Wifi was free of charge, though hard to receive in the furthest room in the corner.

The family is very kind and welcoming. We first dealt with the mother of the two girls, who by now might have retired from the business. One of the daughters was in town at the pub working, where we decided to eat. She was also the cook in the morning and exceptionally friendly.

The farm is ideally located in the middle of Loch Ness (which you can see from the house). You are minutes from the museum, town and tourist spots.

Very warm, cozy place with a great breakfast. So glad we stayed here. It was also delightfully quiet at night in the rural part of town. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Despite arriving on a stormy afternoon (typically Scottish weather) we felt the warmth and care to detail of the place. Travelling with some friends, we fulled up the entire establishment and it was as if we were in our house.

Breakfast was freshly cooked and enjoyed with stunning views of the Loch.

We will surely return!

My husband and I stayed here for the second time recently. Both times the welcome was fantastic as also was the accommodation and breakfast. I would highly recommend this B&B. We were on our way to the Orkneys. We had towed our motorbike up from South Wales and our hosts had kindly agreed to be keep our car and trailer at the farm for two weeks while we continued our journey by bike. This is the second time they have done this and we are very grateful. Sadly they were fully booked for our return journey which was disappointing but they were still happy to keep the car and trailer which is amazing. I highly recommend them. A lovely family and lovely ambiance.

My husband and I stayed here to two days and loved our experience here! Our hosts, Quita and Isla were communicative before our arrival, making everything very clear and simple for us. They are warm and friendly and accommodating to your needs (I am a vegan) just let them know in advance about any special dietary needs.
The rooms are clean, comfortable and very cozy, as is the rest of the house that visitors are allowed in. The breakfast room has amazing views of their farm, the surrounding farms, the hills, and Loch Ness. One could sit here all day just admiring the lambs frolicking, the birds flitting about, and the clouds rolling by. It truly is a magical location.
Each morning, Isla prepared us fresh breakfasts, coffee, tea, and toasts. She is super friendly and we always had a good chat everyday and got some not-so-touristy suggestions on where to spend he day.
There's a cute little village just a few minutes down the road with good food options, even for us vegans. Isla happened to be there the night we had gone there helping them out (she used to manage the restaurant and helps them now whenever they need it).
On our departure day, Isla had asked us if we wanted to hold a little lamb and I agreed gleefully! Normally no one is allowed to hold the babies, but that day was the day that they were taking care of the male's naughty bits and tails (they band them, not cut them). Isla had her Polaroid camera and took two photos of us happy as clams!
Overall, we absolutely loved our experience here, we felt right at home, and would highly recommend staying here! It's location makes it easy to drive to Inverness, Fort William, Culloden field, distilleries, castles, hill walks, etc. and is not terribly far from the ferry to Lewis.
