First time visit to this hotel
Room was lovely well worth the money
Very modern clean and spacious
Breakfast was very nice freshly cooked
The hotel is a bit tired looking
Booked dinner in the restaurant
Food was ok nothing special
I wouldn’t rush back to the restaurant but would certainly book a room as I couldn’t fault it

Stayed at Piersland House for 2 nights on a DBB basis with my wife. Stay was faultless from start to finish. Stayed in room 7 was spotless with a fantastic view of golf course. Had Prosecco and chocs in room on arrival. Dinner was excellent with great choices on menu for full 3 courses and very large portions. Drinks were very reasonable for a 4 star hotel. All staff were friendly and helpful especially Jack who always went out his way to make sure everything was ok. Breakfast was very good as well. Would highly recommend to anyone.

We booked two cottage rooms on the Friday DB&B with prosecco deal, it was fabulous. The cottage rooms were lovely with the nice complimentary touches. Dinner was delicious and the staff were exceptional. Breakfast was plentiful and I do love having my cooked breakfast made to order and served at the table. Our elderly mum didn’t make breakfast and I would love to thank Robert who went out of his way to offer us a breakfast tray for our mum when we were going back to our rooms, amazing service. Hope to return.

To start with, myself n hubby had booked to visit the piersland house, middle of January with friends, unfortunately my hubby was brought down with flu,our friends whom had booked our break, called ahead to inform the hotel that we would need to cancel, the piersland couldn’t be anymore helpful they advised that they would speak to management to see if they would honour our 2night break at a later date,to which was granted,we were very much appreciative of this and booked our break for a later day,our friends went on and stayed on the original date, but very kindly surprised us on our weekend also staying at the piersland house for a second time,so due to the hotels generosity allowing us to change dates, they actually got a second weekend from our friends which says it all about the hotel that they spent a second break so close to their last stay. The piersland has just the friendliest staff, lovely rooms, great food ,most enjoyable stay, thank you guys for an amazing stay.

When you first arrive at the Piersland you are blown away with the look of the hotel and surroundings. We arrived early on Saturday evening and had booked one of the lodges that was not connected to the hotel as the hotel had previously informed us that there was a wedding being held in the hotel so the lodge would be quieter. The lodge was perfect - a short walk across the car park. The room was clean and great for the two of us. The bed was huge! Fruit and water were complimentary and lots of choice of tea, coffees and hot chocolates to choose from. We had decided to eat at the hotel on the Saturday evening as we knew we would've had a long day. A great choice of food on the menu. Breakfast was served from 7-10am which was perfect for us not having to rush to get up on a weekend. Breakfast was served in the main hall and we were not disappointed with the choice. I had bacon, sausages, mushrooms, scrambled eggs and toast. This really set me up for the day and I did not have to worry about lunch! The staff were very pleasant and if we visit the area again we would not hesitate in staying at the Piersland House Hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for a lodge. Very quiet rooms and have a lovely outlook over the golf course
