My son and I booked three nights at this farmhouse outside of Strathaven. It was perfect for us. A spacious room with bathroom, full breakfast with the farmers daughter and friends serving at a fast pace. That substantial mweal held us over until early afternoon. The friendliness and good advice of our hosts made us feel very welcome.
WIfi,water cooker, coffee, tea, cookies, parking close to our room. I would return again!
CLose for trip to Glasgow or out to Ayr and the coast.

This B&B is lovely and the rooms are more like mini apartments than just a room. Everyone was friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was really nice. We will definitely be staying here again. Really good quality at a reasonable price!

Lovely rooms in a rural location, yet only minutes from civilisation! Strathaven is a picturesque village only a mile away, with East Kilbride, Hamilton Glasgow even, all close by.
Good choice for breakfast, excellent all round. Made to feel very welcome.
Plenty of heat, unusual in Scotland Didn't need the hot water bottle we'd brought!

Found Bamflatt on another well known booking site whilst looking for a getaway that made it feel like a road trip. Myself and my friend were looking for the perfect place to escape the humdrum of a busy life, just for the night.

We were met by the owner and shown to our room, and when we entered we weren't disappointed, so much so I think the owner secretly wanted to share our delight ;-) we conversed with her a wee bit (forgot the ladies name) and found out that the farm was once a working farm and our room would have been the dairy. After she left we jumped about like loonies, very pleased.

Our room was a Quadruplex room which consisted of a double bed, 2 singles, a leather chair & a large leather reclining sofa. There were large patio doors which looked onto tranquility, however after asking the owner for the key to open them she declined stating that guests had been partial to leaving the doors open when raining. We understood as it was real wood flooring throughout, however it would have been so nice to sit with them open in the rare sunny Scottish autumn evening.

The bathroom was huge!! And had an amazing shower, only thing missing was some wee complimentary toiletries given the standard/class of the establishment.

Outside we spotted a beautiful well, and yes we made a wish. The grounds are beautiful too.

Our evening was spent in perfect peace, drinking wine and watching 80's movies, including Thelma & Louise ;-) (road trip). Oh and from the vast amount of takeaway menus we ordered in a lovely Chinese. There's a fridge and plates/cutlery in the common area of the hallway, great idea.

Next morning we were served a gorgeous full Scottish breakfast complete with haggis. Breakfast was ordered at check in the previous evening.

The cost of our stay was £74 however we overpaid and paid £80 as we felt it was so worth it.

Perfect stay in tranquility & would have no hesitation recommending or returning.
