“A lovely base for island experience.”
Reviewed 5 September 2017 for a stay in August 2017

We stayed at Seascape cottage for a week to allow us to explore Lewis & Harris. The cottage is in a lovely spot with easy access to Stornaway and access to the rest of the island. The accommodation is beautifully decorated and furnished and has all the equipment that you could ever need. There is a large driveway and garden and it is fully fenced and gated which means it is safe for animals and children. It was great to have such nice accommodation which was also dog friendly.
The roads on Lewis & Harris are in great condition and on the narrow winding roads there are loads of passing places with a new vista around every bend. The beaches on the islands are fantastic and there are adequate toilet facilities at each beach/place of interest which is a bonus.
The cottage is perfect for dining in and the Coop and Tesco are well stocked. There are also plenty of restaurants and cafes to choose from for eating out.
The cottage is a wonderful base for an island adventure and Morag & Richard are very knowledgeable about the islands and more than happy to help with every query.

“A home from home!”
Reviewed 8 July 2017 for a stay in June 2017

Seascape Cottage is a beautiful, lovingly decorated, fully equipped, spacious, comfortable and very clean house. It is located in a quite area and only a short drive away from the city centre, the airport and the ferry terminal.
The landlords are lovely. Richard came to the house, to order to welcome us personally. During our stay he answered very quick to all our questions and gave us helpful information. We were also provided with a high chair and a stairgate, since we were travelling with a one year old child. The also found fresh milk in the fridge and cookies on the table.
We had a really good time and would definitely return!
Thank you very much for letting us stay in your beautiful house!

“Home from home cottage with fantastic views”
Reviewed 8 July 2017 for a stay in June 2017

We felt at home here straight away - the cottage is comfortable and well equipped, with plenty of room for the 5 of us. It is located a short drive away from Stornoway with lovely walks from the doorstep along quiet country lanes. Despite the stormy weather whilst we were there, we found Lewis to be a magical place and the cottage is the perfect base to visit the stunning landscape of Lewis and Harris.
