Decided to venture away from touristy Main Street to grab a bite to eat at lunchtime. Couldn't get a phone signal to seek guidance from TripAdvisor so had to trust our instincts that some of the best places to eat are often tucked away. The menu is not large but is varied, with gluten free and vegan options. Relaxed environment with galleries to both sides made this a fantastic choice for a chilled out lunch. This place is great for families, there are toys for them to play with and the waitress was very attentive and accommodating to every request from the large family next to us.

Visited on the off chance as the flag boasts a superb vegetarian range.
The soup we had was fantastic and the children loved the toasties. Such a simple but really good menu.
Great location albeit it, it is outside of the main Tobermory harbour.

We were fortunate to be able to attend a concert featuring Aidan O'Rourke at the An Tobar Arts Centre. What an amazing venue to hear live music. The lobby with it's bar and art galleries was also terrific.

Fantastic lunches on two separate days. Food was excellent and very tasty. Great variety of dishes. Great service. VALUE FOR MONEY!!

A place like Tobermory needs a place like this. A converted former school it has all you need and want in an arts centre. Great performance area, a good cafe, good exhibition and sales space, smiley faces and a superb view over the harbour and Sound of Mull. Greta credit to those who brought it about and who keep it running. We saw a wonderful musical evening by a scratch folk band of quality musicians, The Secret North, whihc completed the treat!
