Visited one afternoon for late lunch with friends & their springer spaniel. Sat inside as was too cold & windy to sit out.
Lovely baking & gluten free options available. Everyone enjoyed what they had. Staff so helpful. Thank you!

Delicious mushroom & spinach soup with warm, fresh bread - just perfect for lunch! Really comfy soft chairs meant that we were in no rush to leave and a slice of courgette & blueberry cake was lovely too. Excellent, friendly service - looking forward to making a return visit next time we're in this area.

Having researched Trip Advisor we sought this lovely cafe out. Boy are we glad we did.
Good weather meant we could sit outside but they were quite happy for our dog to come inside if we wanted to sit in.
The soup & sandwich combo was excellent value. Beautiful daily bread selection. Hummus and roasted veg was superb. I had pitta stuffed with halloumi & taziki. Gorgeous. The coffee was excellent.
Sadly we had no room for cake. They looked delicious.
The couple who run this place could not be more welcoming or helpful. Delightful couple.
Only wished we lived closer. 8.5 hours is a long way to go for lunch. Just have to book another holiday up there.

We have been meaning to go here for a long time and finally we have made it. And we will definitely be going back. We only had coffee and scones but they were fabulous and all the other home made cakes etc looked fantastic too. Must try a soup and sandwich lunch the next time, again all home made. A very friendly 'mine host' and a comfy place where you could linger. It is in a super countryside setting too which is the icing on the cake. Definitely worth going out of your way to find this little gem.
