Owners couldn't be more helpful. Quiet secluded location with wonderful views from caravan and walks from the door. We also hired bikes and combined with proximity of train station, village shop and tearoom had all we needed to explore and recover with cream teas etc. Only minus that it could be cold in the morning as this was an old style mobile home with basic insulation but otherwise very cosy and well equipped. We understand the mobile home is being replaced by a wood cabin and am sure we will return.
We spent a wonderful 2 week in this lovely spot. The holiday home was well kitted out & had everything we could possibly need. We had a lovely view of the loch from our window, & occasionally when the clouds lifted, we could see Ben Cruachan. Our dogs enjoyed their little garden watching the sheep & the chickens & there were plenty of places nearby to walk them. The owners were very friendly & couldn't have been more helpful. A good spot for exploring Oban & surrounding areas. Loved it!
This is a great place to stay if you are looking for some time out. The mobile home is spacious and clean with all you need when you come in from a days walking or exploring. I took my dog and she was very happy watching the chickens and Hebrides sheep through the window. The decking around the van is a great place to sit out in the sunshine and watch the light changing on the loch and mountains.
Very welcoming and helpful owners. Comfortable accommodation, fully equipped, all needs met, even a washing machine housed in attached lean to. ( run machine at night if you need rocking to sleep, it will rock the van)
Magnificent views, peaceful, local walks and trips out accessible. Booking of ferries from Oban straightforward whether or not taking car. Trip using bus/coach/ferries to Staffa, Mull, and Iona £50 each well organised.
