We stayed in room 6 - its a big bright room with a lovely comfy bed & fantastic views over the sea. The wet room was well proportioned & would be great for visitors with mobility issues or who may need help when showering. The breakfast was excellent - I don't know how they got the cooked breakfasts & the plates so hot. We enjoyed tasty bread, stewed rhubarb & even lemon curd all of which were home-made/grown by Andy & Joan. The house is well maintained & we couldn't have asked for more !
The owners are very hospitable.Very beautiful house with a grand living room with a well stocked library.
Breakfast was excellent.Rooms are very spacious comfortable and wellequipped.Home away from home.I will definitely revisit!
We visited Bute for the first time and stayed at Munro's. Apart from our arrival, where we could not see a sign from the road and drove up and down aimlessly, the visit was a great success.
We had an enormous room with a small sitting area and excellent bathroom. The view from the window was brilliant. At £95 a night for two we thought it was good value.
Our hosts could not have been more helpful and the breakfasts were extremely good with a very good fruit salad.
There is an attractive garden and our hosts gave us good advice on where to visit.. This is one of the best B&Bs we have ever been to.
However, the wifi in the rooms was not good but excellent downstairs.
Stayed on the 12th May in room 3. Andy and Joan were both super efficient and yet welcoming and friendly. Had a lovely stay and was lucky enough to have great weather too. Everything you could possibly need is in the room whether it's a fan or heater (good 'ol Scottish weather) the breakfast served by Joan was superbly artisan and the homemade bread.... Well you need to try it for yourself - Amazing!! Joan showed us around and next time (there will most certainly be a next time) would try the family room (6) but was certainly happy in room 3. Keep up the great work guys- you deserve much success.
10 friends stayed here for 3 nights and had a Ball.
Our hosts couldn't do enough for us. We had wonderful Dinners on two nights.
I'm sure some of us will return to Munros even if it's to the Bread School.
