“Barn Cottage well worth it in every sense”
Reviewed 8 October 2015 for a stay in August 2015

We had the pleasure of staying at Barn Cottage in Killin during the 1st week of August in 2015. What a wonderful cottage and setting. On arrival Karen made us most welcome, the cottage is fully equipped for us nothing was missing and there was nothing that could be added. We were most comfortable, stunning walks, views and central to a lot of very interesting places. I thoroughly recommend Barn Cottage and will definitely come back our holiday ranks up there in the top 5…

“A little gem”
Reviewed 25 September 2015 for a stay in September 2015

My husband and I stayed for a week in this wonderful well equipped holiday cottage. It had everything we needed. Owner had a great selection of information on the area, eateries, shops (Co-op was well stocked and is open until 10 pm staff very friendly). We had a lovely meal in the Killin Hotel and very reasonable. We enjoyed lots of walks in the area and went to Oban and Pitlochry.
We hope to be back

“Idyllic Setting”
Reviewed 1 September 2015 for a stay in August 2015

This was our second stay at Barn Cottage, the first being approx 5 years ago and what an improvement! The addition of the porch was a brilliant idea. The cottage itself is gorgeous, our 7 year old loved the fact that he went downstairs to go to bed each night. The village of Killin is lovely with eateries, pubs, lovely shops (especially Escape) and a good sized Co-op. We had lovely day trips to Edinburgh and the Isle of Mull and also just exploring and spending time in Killin. I cannot recommend this chocolate box cottage enough, its just wonderful and we will definitely be back

“Superb cottage!”
Reviewed 14 August 2015 for a stay in July 2015

A great cottage, near the Falls of Dochart, with all the things one would need for a great stay! The house is well cared for, in the middle of Killin. What especially stood out were all the care taken to accomodate visitors; be it in kitchen tools, or tips for trips. A complete box of tips was given, sorted to type of trip. Brilliant!
We hope to come back one day!

Liked best: Much, much more than 'just a roof and a bed'; well cared for, and all a visitor would need.
Liked least: The weather, but well, hard to blame Karen and Alex :)

Stunning location for a break. Great service and very friendly. Cottage was fantastic, really well appointed and comfortable. Lovely river outside, close to pub. Enjoyed watching the red squirrels. Will definitely be back again.
