Just got back to Dartford after a 455 mile drive and we are so glad we went .
The views from our lodge was spectacular watching the mist over the loch in the morning and the sunrise was breath taking .
The lodge had everything it was warm and clean beds made up etc .
My only grip and it maybe a small one but the furniture sofa and chairs are not comfortable and that made the evenings difficult to relax .Please Ollie and Co try and update the furniture before we come back and we will be back .NOTHING else was wrong we loved every minute the only reason we left a day early was work commitments.

I took my 2 sons , mother and granddaughter away to the cabins for a well deserved break.
On arrival there was no one to greet us , but a notice was posted on the reception door to inform us to go to the cabin which would be open and we would get a visit later on in the evening. We found the cabin clean but a bit tired looking . We stayed in the lodge that sleeps six and it was spacious enough for our party.
The cabins are situated almost loch side and a short stroll from a pub/ restaraunt. And local hotel. There are plenty of opportunities for water sports and outdoor enthusiasts. It is in an ideal location and ticked most of our boxes. I would recommend this for a short break.

Booked last minute and had regular contact from Angus who came and introduced himself on arrival.
Our cabin was open as the reception was closed which speeded up getting settled in. We had the front row so nothing in front apart from the road and the views of Loch Earn.
The cabin it self offered two spacious bedrooms and a good bathroom and lounge area although the TV is very small. We mainly had it on for the news so it didn't bother us to much.
The kitchen is well stock but needs some serious TLC and updating. Shame as it wouldn't take much to improve it. We used the oven and grill only for breakfast and to heat some food up. There is a fridge and microwave as well. Didn't use the washing machine thou but all in all you can manage.
You will get a damp smell but we had tea lights on so after a while you forget about it.
With no wifi we used the hotel next door, added bonus we had less than 20 yards to walk to the stairs !! Robert and Amanda are lovely people and make you very welcome and allowed our daughter to sit and use there wifi as long as she bought a drink which is very generous. We were happy to go every night and mingle and chat to residents. With a wedding on while we were there it was full so had a good laugh.
As a base to other places Oban is 90 minutes away and Crieff less than 30 minutes.

Lovely rustic cabin on the banks of loch earn. Well equipped place to stay, make sure you take a stash of pound coins for the metre. Lovely hotel and pub practically next door where you can get a nice meal. Have already booked for our third return visit. Just a nice relaxing break away. Probably only down side is the beds aren't the most comfortable.

The owner Angus was very friendly and helpful and gave us his mobile no. for any queries/prank calls. We stayed 4 days in March and used around 12 £1 coins in meter for two ppl. Stunning location overlooking the Earn. Two restaurants/pubs next door that had decent reviews and looked welcoming but we had the dags so didn't bother (No leaving dogs in lodge unattended). There is a trek from the village but we found a nice walk 5 miles away (north) with top views. There's a local shop in the village for essentials but not much else. A jetty directly opposite lodges which can be used by patrons, but no path either side so walks along the lochside were out so a vehicle is a must.

Room Tip: Lodges 7,8,9 and 4 are suitable for mobility difficulties.
