“Perfect lodge in idyllic location!”

My partner and I along with our three small children stayed for a long weekend in October 2014. We had a wonderful holiday! The lodge was everything we could have hoped for and was very well equipped. The showers were especially good! The lodge is perfectly situated close to loch lomond and is walking distance from the hotel which is handy for evening entertainment especially as you are a few miles from the nearest town. To be honest I can't fault anything and we are already talking about coming back! Thoroughly recommend :)

“Cosy cabin in beautiful lochside setting”

We stayed for a weekday break in May and the cabin was as expected, clean and well equipped, in a beautiful setting. Only slight downside is the third bedroom as the bunk beds are not ideal for anyone tall. Good location for outdoor activities, chilling out, sightseeing, and nearest village is Balmaha about a 15 minute drive (although road needs quite a bit of repair in places) which has a lovely pub restaurant and small shop with some local produce.

“Amazing!!”
Reviewed 29 April 2014 for a stay in April 2014

Stayed here for 4 nights and it was absolutely amazing, very spacious and great location. Shower pressure was awesome. Ideal for hiking, cycling and walks. The view was beautiful. Only a 15 minute car ride to Balmaha. Bunk room was a bit small but ideal for kids. Would definitely use this cabin again :-)

“Lovely lodge in a stunning location”
Reviewed 3 November 2013 for a stay in October 2013

We stayed here in October and this location is absolutely lovely in the autumn. Lots of walks and history trails to keep the kids occupied. The lodge has a great homely feel and was cleaned to a very high standard, it has a well equipped kitchen and plenty of room for a party of 6. There is a hotel/pub within walking distance where we received a warm welcome ( despite the husband asking if he could have the English football on TV!!).
All in all a great Scottish break staying in a lovely lodge in a beautiful location ....we will certainly return.
