“Perfect for a family holiday for all age groups.”
Reviewed 1 September 2015 for a stay in August 2015

We were a family of 6 adults and 5 children ages ranging from 5 to 75, the house was very spacious, well equipped and tastefully furnished.
There was plenty to do and see, lovely beaches, good walking and easy to reach some of the Northumberland attractions.
The train from Dunbar was an easy route into Edinburgh.
The owner of the property was very helpful and there was plenty of information in the house about things to do and places to see.
We had a very good meal at the local pub and bought delicious shell fish at nearby Eyemouth.
A car is essential.

“Wonderful week staying in St kilda, Auchencrow with all the family”
Reviewed 12 August 2015 for a stay in July 2015

This was our second stay at St Kilda and once again we had a very good time. The cottage is very well equipped and spacious enough for all 12 of us to be very comfortable. The ping pong table and football table in the garage were particularly popular. The local beaches are very good especially Coldingham Bay where you can hire wet suits and boards for a minimal charge. The young ones love to see the cows, horse and sheep in the next fields and all of us enjoyed watching the hawk. Chainbridge Honey Farm is well worth a visit. The cafe is excellent and very reasonable. We would highly recommend this property and will be booking again in the future.

“Perfect Easter Break”
Reviewed 8 June 2015 for a stay in March 2015

This was our second year staying at St Kilda and we hope for more return visits. This is a stunningly beautiful house in a stunningly beautiful setting.
The house itself is one of the best equipped we have ever visited, the kitchen especially being better equipped than the normal holiday rental. The games room has always been a hit with young and old - we've had a three-generation ping pong tournament on both stays.
The field of bullocks opposite the house is one of the highlights - we spent so many hours drinking tea, coffee, beer, wine, whisky just watching the peaceful migration of the herd throughout their day.
Another lovely meal in the local - nice beer and we would highly recommend the game pie.
Already planning our next request for a stay.

“Fantastic Holiday”

Our group of 7 adults, 2 toddlers and a baby all enjoyed our stay.

The house is superb and had everything we needed.

The Scottish Borders are magnificent.
