Well appointed and spacious base for our stay in Scotland. Centrally located for day trips to Edinburgh, Stirling, Gleneagles and St Andrews. Alan was an accommodating, welcoming and friendly host. Consistent WiFi, two good showers and a spacious kitchen, after two weeks we were sad to leave our Scottish Home.
We (two couples) stayed for two nights. The house is extremely well presented and equipped and has everything you need for a short or long stay. Welcome pack of tea coffee milk and lovely bicycles was a nice touch. Decor is fresh and modern and everything was spotless. We were lucky with weather and sat outside in the small patio area enjoying the antics of the house martins swooping overhead. Comms with owner prior to our stay were excellent so had no problems. Only minor quibbles with house were 1) the curtain rail in the twin bedroom had no stoppers on the end so when I pulled back the curtain the end fell off (leading to some interesting acrobatics with a chair to reattach it!) and 2) it would have been nicer if the beds in the twin room could be arranged side by side rather than at right angles to give it better appearance for couples (there is room to do this I think). The shower in the small shower room is much better than the one in main bathroom. Would definitely recommend though, it is ideal for a family. Ps It's a fairly steep walk back up the hill from Dollar main street so decent shoes and lung capacity needed!
The house had everything we could have asked for...with a homely feel... exceptionally clean and welcoming. The area is beautiful , and we had a lovely much needed break. Would definetely return.

We were looked after well considering we had a very early check in, due to a delayed flight. The house was clean bright and in a nice quiet area, with lovely views. It rained a lot so we didn't use the garden much, but the birds were in full song in the mornings.
We had to attend a local wedding and hadn't visited the area before, it has a nice small town feel. The Kingseat pub has a good atmosphere and Reids Deli is excellent.
The location is ideal for outdoor activities and for golf enthusiasts (like my husband), so we had to visit Gleneagles which was more fun than i thought it would be!

Stayed in this house for a few nights with friends and young children. Plenty of space for everyone. We all really enjoyed it, everything is provided, even cot and high chair.
Make sure you do the walk up the glen to castle campbell but be careful it's a bit steep in places! Lovely countryside and views.
