“Lovely cottage in a beautiful location”
Reviewed 27 October 2015 for a stay in October 2015

Elm cottage has everything you could possibly need. There was four adults in our party, with plenty of room for all of us. Set in a beautiful quiet location yet close enough to Stranraer for shops etc. Viv cottage owner lovely lady, always willing to help.

“Quiet, quality family time”
Reviewed 16 October 2015 for a stay in October 2015

I stayed in this cottage in October with my wife and our 2 kids 11 & 3. I can honestly say we all had a fabulous time. The cottage was extremely well equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing comfortable stay. We ventured out every day and enjoyed the thought of coming back to our arm cozy cottage. The cottage is situated perfectly in between Stranraer & Portpatrick on a country road. The cottage has horses in the field across and a private park next to it with activities to keep the kids entertained. We can recommend eating in Portpatrick, a curry in Stranraer and visits to the Lagon outdoor centre & the Cocoa Bean Factory about 45 mins away. Truly awesome quality family time here and will definitely be back!!!!

“Stunning location, cottages perfect and owners so helpful”
Reviewed 15 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

We stayed in Elm cottage for a week with our 2 children aged 12 and 14 years old. The location in the countryside which the cottages are situated within is stunning surrounded by country side horses and cows grazing etc all very peaceful. The owners were very helpful nothing was too much trouble they lent us maps, gave suggestions / directions of where to go / shop etc. The owners wife let our children help her feed the horses etc which they loved.
From the cottage lots of places to visit Mull of Galloway, Forest of Galloway, Laggan outdoor activities ( Kids did the zip wire 850 metres long ! and grass sledging ) . Went to Glasgow for a day trip shopping visited lighthouses at weekends can go up inside them

“A pleasent surprise”
Reviewed 31 May 2015 for a stay in May 2015

This property was a lovely surprise. Its very well priced and I wasn't sure what to expect for the price. The property is very well presented, its warm, well equipped and a perfect base for exploring the area.

The wifi is a bit touch and go, but in my opinion you get more than you pay for.
